Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico in a family who loved music. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, boleros from the past, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well opera and dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, however she began more intensive training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera singer and tenor. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. Her early professional career saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her new home in Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. Her love and passion for music, art, and performing keep her engaged with many local organizations as a teacher and performer. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
